This year is our 20-year anniversary of producing wine at Villa Appalaccia. The 1995   harvest was the first to be fermented in the winery building and the first red was "Toscanello", then a blend of Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese, the first white was "Lirico", made from Vidal Blanc and Malvasia (not barrel fermented). On August 1 we will celebrate with a free tasting of various old vintages, even 1995 "Toscanello" if you dare. Jim Sharkey will entertain with Irish songs in the garden and has promised some sing-along too. Our resident opera singer Pavarotti, will be heard on the patio. For those interested in competitive Bocce or Corn holes,  we have a tournament organizer on hand. Winners will celebrate with bottles of "Allegra"We will  serve Italian pasta delicacies from our brick oven, available for the small cost of $5-$10/meal. Proceeds will go to Floyd's food bank.
